Biryani By Kilo (BBK) is India's largest organised biryani chain, founded in 2015 by Kaushik Roy and Vishal Jindal under Sky Gate Hospitality. It introduced the handi biryani format, dum cooking each order fresh and delivering it in a traditional handi, and now serves 45 or more cities through a mix of dine-in outlets and cloud kitchens, plus a UAE presence. Devyani International acquired 80.72% of Sky Gate in April 2025 and took it to 100% by February 2026, making BBK its entry into the Indian cuisine and cloud kitchen segment.
