Huitres Damerose

Damerose Oysters is a small family oyster farm based in Morbihan (Brittany), on the magnificent Ria d'Etel. Etienne and Coralie produce natural oysters there, born and raised at sea, which grow at their own pace in the plankton-rich and biodiversity-rich waters of the Ria d'Etel. They are members of the association of "traditional oyster farmers", guarantors of a natural oyster (=no hatchery, no triploids). Damerose oysters are fine oysters from Brittany with a beautiful balance between iodine and flesh. They also received the gold medal at the Pars 2026 general agricultural competition in the "Fine Oysters from Southern Brittany" category. Since 2024, Etienne and Coralie have also developed a small range of oyster-based preserves in order to showcase oysters in a different way and to introduce other ways of consuming and preserving them. Beyond production, Etienne and Coralie communicate and raise public awareness of the environmental and social issues related to oyster farming, water quality, the Ria d'Etel... They regularly welcome school groups to raise awareness from a very young age!
