THE ORIGINS It all started with a wave. Not the one you ride, but the one from a painting I wanted to reproduce on paper. The first drawing was pretty good. So I continued. From reproduction to reproduction, the drawing style became sharper. Until the moment I started creating my own graphic fantasies. That's when the idea surfaced: why not print these designs on clothes? All that remained was to find a name. Lucette emerged as the obvious choice. My grandmother's first name. Original, a little vintage, easy to remember. And most importantly, it sounded right to represent the spirit I wanted to give to the brand. DEVELOPMENT Two seasons at the Montalivet market Some surfing events. Flea markets where I would display my creations on folding tables. That's how Lucette gained momentum, step by step, without a crazy marketing plan or fundraising. Just clothes I liked to wear, and people who clicked with the vibe. Today, the brand is present in two surf shops in the Médoc region. Each piece is designed here and printed locally in Lacanau. No overproduction, no idle stock. Just small series designed to last.
