Marie Courtillat

Founded in 2019, the Marie Courtillat workshop is a workshop for creating jewelry in colored porcelain, entirely handcrafted in France. Each piece of jewelry is the result of demanding craftsmanship, where the material is at the heart of the creative process. All colored porcelain is made directly in the workshop. They are dyed throughout, then worked using the mixed earth technique, allowing for the creation of subtle effects of marbling, nuances and gradients. This approach gives each piece a unique identity, while maintaining collection coherence. The jewelry is then shaped and fired at 1260 degrees, using a single firing process, guaranteeing strength, finesse and durability. Two finishes characterize the work of the workshop: - a matte finish, leaving the porcelain in its natural state, - a glossy finish, obtained through enameling. Regardless of the finish, porcelain retains the same qualities: it is light, resistant and not afraid of water, which makes it perfectly suited to contemporary jewelry.
