Since 2009, the Lyon brand SKIMP has been reinventing everyday objects to make them FUN, INGENIOUS & OFFSET. SKIMP is above all a story of adventure and travel. Have you ever heard of the famous plastic belts of all colors? Look carefully the next time you are at an airport, on a golf course, a boat or even a ski slope ... For the most curious, this is how it all started: "The day before I left for a business trip to Japan, I decided to wear my beautiful crocodile belt that I had just received for my birthday. On D-Day, during a very short correspondence in Frankfurt and yet another security check, I had to take everything off again: shoes, watch, belt…. Being 5 minutes from the end of boarding and panicking at the idea of missing my flight, I totally forgot my famous belt in the checkpoint bin… Disgusted at the back of my seat, the idea of '' a metal-free belt made entirely of plastic and suitable for travelers was obvious.
